Herndon Earns New Multi-Million Defense Government Contract

Herndon Products is excited to announce a new, $277 million-dollar defense contract with the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Logistics Agency. Work on this deal began in April, and Herndon was one of just five finalists, eventually securing the contract in February of 2009. The eight-year contract will yield new growth for Herndon and positively impact our business for years to come.
All credit goes to COO Dan Rodrigues and his team for their hard work and commitment to our continued success. We value Dan’s expertise and appreciate his efforts in achieving this deal for Herndon, which is an important step forward in the bright future of our company.
An additional and significant benefit is that this multi-million defense contract will also allow Herndon to hire 15 additional employees over the next twelve months.
