2010 revenue: $97.5 million +27%

Thanks to a major defense contract in 2009, Herndon Products had another banner year. That contract - to support the Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, Penn. "more than doubled the company's revenue in 2010 and will result in at least $200 million in additional revenue during the next few years.

Herndon Products supplies assembly components to the aerospace and defense industry. The company offers consumable hardware, hi-lock pins and collars, bolts, fittings, seals, bearings, electrical components and lithium batteries. It also provides integrated logistics, inventory and warehouse management and controlling services.

"We are targeting 10 percent growth in 2011," COO Daniel Rodrigues said. "That will include a few new jobs, both in warehouse support and service reps."

Herndon Products was founded in 2003 and is based in O'Fallon, Mo., where it operates a 77,000-square-foot combination warehouse and operations facility. Chairman, CEO and President Scott Herndon owns the company with his brother, Craig Herndon.
